Secure Site Consulting (ABN 72 414 191 553) ("we", "us") respects your privacy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number, property or business address, the details you give us about your security concerns, and any information gathered during a site assessment (which may include photographs of the property). We may also collect sensitive information you choose to share, such as details of a crime you have experienced. We only collect this with your consent and only when it's relevant to the service.
How we collect it
Through our website enquiry forms, our online booking system (Calendly), email, phone calls and in-person site visits.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, provide and invoice our services, prepare assessment reports, and meet our legal and licensing obligations. If you opt in, we'll also send you occasional news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as Squarespace (website and forms), Calendly (bookings), our email provider and our accountant. We also share it where the law requires, or where there is a serious threat to someone's safety. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Assessment reports and client records are kept for as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations, and are then securely destroyed.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing Patryck.Neal@SecureSiteConsulting.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).
