FAQs
What does a security consultant do?
1
We independently assess your home, business or venue, identify the risks and vulnerabilities, and give you a clear, prioritised plan to improve your security. We don't sell or install equipment – no commissions, no supplier kickbacks – so our advice isn't tied to any product. If you need equipment installed, we can help you brief and compare licensed installers.
Are you licensed, and where do you work?
2
Yes. Secure Site Consulting holds an NSW Master Licence (000111322) issued under the Security Industry Act 1997. We work across Wollongong, the Illawarra and Sydney, and take on larger commercial engagements elsewhere in NSW on request.
What does it cost, and what's involved?
3
Every property and organisation is different, so we give you a fixed, tailored quote before any work begins – start with a free 15-minute phone consultation. A site visit usually takes 1–2 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the property. We review entry points, lighting, landscaping, existing systems and daily routines, and you receive a written report with risk ratings and a prioritised action plan within 7 days.
How do I get started, and is it confidential?
4
Book a free 15-minute phone consultation online, or send an enquiry through the contact form – we usually reply within one business day. Everything you share is treated in confidence and handled in line with our Privacy Policy. This matters especially for clients who have experienced crime, and we take that responsibility seriously.
